'I just spent all day on what should have been a busy Saturday reading
'Kate'

'Just finished reading One Good Dog. I LOVED it. Fantastic from beginning to end. It was one of the best books I've ever read. Wonderful story, beautifully written, laughed my head off whenever Chance narrated. I loved Adam's transformation and the book's perfect ending. I eagerly look forward to reading your other novels. Thank you for writing this one. I never wanted it to end. '

'I loved this book!!! I felt that it was so emotional, it was amazing! i weeped the last half of the book (one good dog). I am so glad that I chose this for my book club read! The ending made me so HAPPY!!!!!!!!! '

'Just finished reading One Good Dog and it is a great book. What really made it wonderful for me was the fact that the man's transition was so reasonable and believable. Not so easy to achieve. The lack of sentimentalism actually made it more sentimental for me. You're in my cell phone list of great authors to wait for. Please write fast. '
'Linann Eoff'

'I am in the process of reading One Good Dog and I must say I can NOT put it down. Only into Chapter 36 where Adam has finally named the dog and acknowledged he owns the dog. I don't want it to end. I love that you put it in Chances POV. That was a simply wonderful idea and it works. I love this book. '

'I loved your book
'Barb Foley'

'Thank you for One Good Dog. It is one of the best books I have ever read. I hated to see it end. I'm so glad it had a happy ending. I'm a sucker for a happy ending especially when it's an animal story...although this book was much more than that. I cried when I thought Chance was gone...and cried again when he was alive and happy. I will definitely read this book many times.'

'Patrick Smith'

'Thank you for writing The Fortune Teller's Daughter. '
'Melinda Tudor'

'I can't even begin to describe all the different emotions that I went through reading 'One Good Dog'! You took a very difficult subject matter - dog fighting - and you did a fantastic job of telling the story of Chance and Adam. Having parts of your book from the viewpoint of Chance made this book an amazing page turner! Breed discrimination is something that I have always disliked, since my breed of choice is Rottweilers. I've rescued several Rotties that have been abused, neglected, had no idea what toys were for, and were afraid of people. It sure doesn't take them long - after healing from physical issues - to learn that all people aren't bad, and they all turned into happy, very loving dogs! I really hope that you will consider another book regarding another abused animal and that animals success story! I know that there are fewer successes than failures, however, you have the ability to tell about the failures, and turn them into successes! Thank you for writing such a wonderful, emotional, heart warming story!'
'Debbie McMurray'

'Just finished One Good Dog. It was the best book I have read in a long time. Being a dog lover I can relate to the book.'
'MICHELLE'

'Susan, I work at an animal shelter and am drawn to any book with a dog theme. But One Good Dog was more than just a cute dog story. We have a brindle pit at our shelter now who could be Chance's sister. I pray someone in need of redemption comes to adopt her! Thank you for the smiles and tears I experienced reading your book. I plan to read the rest of your collection soon.'
'Christine'

'I just finished 'One Good Dog'. Wow, what a wonderful book, full of compassion for homeless and broken men, as well as for a wonderful Pit Bull dog. I also loved the redemtion story for both man and dog. I plan on giving this book to a friend to read this coming week. I look forward to Susan's next book,'The Dog Who Danced'.'
'Jacque Davis'

'Just finished reading OGD for the second time. I was lucky as I bought this First Edition at our local bookstore. Gosh, this book just brings joy, sadness, and laughter all in one book. I love Chance and Adam. Thank you Susan!'
'Barbara Moore'

'Very well written, excellent plot lines, a wonderful story with a beautiful ending. One of the hardest books I've had to put down to go to work. Thank you for bringing us this story.'
'Dan'

'Thank you...thank you for keeping Chance alive. I needed that. I needed a happy ending.'
'Chris'

'What a lovely, sweet story. I enjoyed every page. Thank your for the good ending. I was so upset when I thought it had gone the other way. I love the two points of view and everything about the story. So touching.'
'Judy'

'I just finished reading One Good Dog, and as a tear rolls down my cheek I had to say what a wonderful book it was. I always thought that animals think in their own way. Reading Chance's thoughts made me know for sure. Thank you for such a wonderful story.'
'Dolores Weaver'

'I absolutely loved your book,
'Edie'

'Brenda DeShields'

'Just finished OGD and it was the best animal and owner book that I've read in a long time. For me it was one of those don't want to finish books and the ending didn't disappoint me except it meant it was finished!! Will look forward to reading more books by you. Thanks Susan for the heart touching read. Pat Layden'
